FBI Agents Association: Failure to Reauthorize FISA Provisions Threatens National Security

Brian O’Hare, President of the FBI Agents Association (FBIAA), representing over 14,000 FBI Special Agents nationwide, issued the following statement:

“Inaction by our leaders in Washington means that our country will be at greater risk when essential FISA authorities expire on Sunday, March 15th.  It is unacceptable and dangerous that Congress and the White House have failed to come together to reauthorize provisions that have widespread bipartisan support and are essential to help protect our country from foreign terrorists and spies.
