FBI Agents Association Statement on Attack on Baton Rouge Law Enforcement Officers

Washington, DC: FBI Agents Association (FBIAA) President Reynaldo Tariche issued the following statement on the attack on Baton Rouge law enforcement officers:

“The FBI Agents Association condemns the targeted killing of law enforcement officials in Baton Rouge, LA. Our hearts go out to the families of those who lost loved ones and our thoughts and prayers are with the injured officers. FBIAA calls on all elected officials to condemn this form of domestic terrorism – targeting law enforcement officers for murder. We stand with their colleagues in Dallas and Baton Rouge and will continue to strongly advocate for the strengthening of our domestic terrorism laws. We call on the American public to also stand with local, state and national law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day to ensure the safety of the American people.”
