Statement by FBI Agents Association on Omnibus Appropriations Bill

This statement can be attributed to Reynaldo Tariche, President, FBI Agents Association:

"We are encouraged that the omnibus appropriations bill proposed by House and Senate negotiators allocates nearly $8.246 for FBI Salaries and Expenses, a significant increase in appropriations compared to FY 2013.  This proposed appropriation represents a considerable improvement when compared to funding levels under sequestration.  We urge the House and Senate to support the omnibus bill, enabling the Bureau to avoid furloughs and additional operational cuts, and ensuring that the FBI and its agents have the necessary resources to combat the criminal and terrorist threats facing our country.”
